I’m Kristoffer Hygum, a digital designer and maker currently pursuing a master’s degree in Digital Transformation at Roskilde University.

My work explores how technology, design, and rapid prototyping can create new forms of interaction and experience.

I have a hands-on approach to design, often working with laser cutting, 3D printing, and fabrication tools to prototype and test ideas quickly.

Alongside my studies, I work as a technological consultant at FABLAB RUC and as a teaching assistant, helping others bring creative and technical projects to life.

Parametric Shelf System

An adaptive shelving concept exploring modular design principles and digital fabrication.

The Parametric Shelf System explores how CAD tools and parametric design can support adaptable and customizable furniture. Using digital fabrication tools, the shelf’s structure can be modified to fit different spaces and user needs, merging craftsmanship with generative design.
